Docs to have ready for your setup

1. 1. W9 - complete & accurate
   2. COI (Certificate of Insurance)
      1. Make sure lines of coverage are active
      2. The expiration date is after today
      3. There is an insurance contact in the top right (if using an Accord format)
   3. COA (Certificate of Authority)
      1. Many brokers will require you to upload this document
      2. You will also need to know your authority age and Interstate or Intrastate
   4. NOA (Notice of Assignment)
      1. Must have effective date
      2. Must include the payee bank information (your factoring company if you have one, or your companies bank account information)
   5. Equipment
      1. number of tractors
      2. number of trailers and the type/size of your trailers

Above are all the pieces of information you'll need to provide CH Robinson to get setup.

Pre-qualification

CHR will check your MC and DOT information to pre-qualify your business. The first step of the registration portal will give you the results of that pre-qualification.

Carrier Profile

After qualification is complete, you'll be asked to fill out information about your business.

2. Contact information: make sure you use your @truenorthmco.com email address so that TrueNorth automatically gets Rate Confirmations! This will keep you from having to forward them to us after booking.

Payment Information

Finally, you'll need to select your payment information. The screenshots below are to show the questions you will be asked, not to tell you which fields to select. Please read each option carefully before making your selection. You will be asked to upload a W9 following this step.

Final Details

Next you will need to sign the carrier agreement with CH Robinson and verify your payment options. Once payment options are complete, you'll see a confirmation screen! 

Don't forget to write down your CH Robinson T-Code. This code will need to be sent to the TrueNorth ops team so that you can have access to CHR book now and load offer options on LoadCentral.
