- W9 - complete & accurate
- COI (Certificate of Insurance)
- Make sure lines of coverage are active
- The expiration date is after today
- There is an insurance contact in the top right (if using an Accord format)
- COA (Certificate of Authority)
- Many brokers will require you to upload this document
- You will also need to know your authority age and Interstate or Intrastate
- NOA (Notice of Assignment)
- Must have effective date
- Must include the payee bank information (your factoring company if you have one, or your companies bank account information)
- Equipment
- number of tractors
- number of trailers and the type/size of your trailers
Account Setup
Visit https://www.uber.com/us/en/freight/carrier/ and enter your information.
Contact information: make sure you use your @truenorthmco.com email address so that TrueNorth automatically gets Rate Confirmations! This will keep you from having to forward them to us after booking.
You'll be asked to verify the information with a 2-step verification notification to your email address or phone number. And then you can create a password for your Uber account.
Next, you'll receive a docusign contract. This is where you will need to upload an NOA for your factoring company, if you have one.

Next, you will need to email your NOA and Certification of Insurance to Uber.

Then, send your COI to the following email addresses: appcarriersuccess@uber.com; ufexpansiononboarding@uber.com; freight-carrier@uber.com
