- COI (Certificate of Insurance)
- Make sure lines of coverage are active
- The expiration date is after today
- There is an insurance contact in the top right (if using an Accord format)
- COA (Certificate of Authority)
- Many brokers will require you to upload this document
- You will also need to know your authority age and Interstate or Intrastate
- NOA (Notice of Assignment)
- Must have effective date
- Must include the payee bank information (your factoring company if you have one, or your companies bank account information)
- Equipment
- number of tractors
- number of trailers and the type/size of your trailers
TQL Portal
Pre-qualification
TQL will check your MC and DOT information to pre-qualify your business. The first step of the registration portal will give you the results of that pre-qualification.
Carrier Profile
After qualification is complete, you'll be asked to fill out information about your business.
- Pay to information
- Contact information: make sure you use your @truenorthmco.com email address so that TrueNorth automatically gets Rate Confirmations! This will keep you from having to forward them to us after booking.

Next you'll be asked to fill in your W9 information as well as proof of insurance via RMIS.
Final Details
Finally, you'll review the TQL carrier agreement and receive a confirmation page.
